No kidding.
In Loveland they are swimming in it as wished for. I was alays told to beware what you wish for because it might come true.

Im eating my typing! Is fucking coming back up.
Just had 15" of water int he shop and cleaned out 2" of silt.
Kinda prophetic.....glad you didn't get hit any worse!
I'm really kinda numb about all the damage and devastation, and it's not over yet. Estimated 19,000 homes damaged or destroyed, 5 confirmed dead, hundreds still unaccounted for, thousands homeless or evacuated, untold numbers still stranded, vital services out for who knows how long, countless roads AFU and unusable, livestock - who knows?, and on and on......
We only go up that way once a year, over Labor Day, and we were just there. The cabins we stay at in Estes, we don't know about - but they're right on the river. We stopped in Glen Haven for a snack and shopping, the store was ravaged and the gift shop is just a slab now.
It's sickening.
