My bride is wondering if there's a need for temporary housing for dogs displaced by the fire. I know several of you have offered to help with horses, etc.. While we don't have the ability to house horses, we could temporarily foster a dog or two. I imagine the shelters are overwhelmed. Let me know if we can help, or any ideas.

I'm sure I could take a few pups as well.

I'm not sure if there's any info on pets but it's a good start

Cool, thanks! I offered housing for dogs on the site. It's really set up for people, but at least the offer is out there.
Yeah, we can host for dogs as well but they need to be smaller dogs since we have a small sissy dog. Nice house with fenced yard and we're very careful with our dog... no people food or getting out the doors.
Where are folks offering to house animals at? Any web resources similar to the site above? I have 40 acres out East and may be willing to house some animals for folks if they need it.
I just found on Larimer's Animal Shelter website they have a survey that you can fill out to offer assistance. It let's you chose the type and add notes that would be helpful for them to know.
I signed up for large livestock or poultry as I have both and can take care of them for someone in need.
