Given the weakness of the clamp style mount required by the CETME / G3 receiver, I'd be reluctant to fire the CETME much with that heavy optic.

I have no experience with the stanag scope mount but it appears to be sturdy.
The mount came with the scope as part of the german military issue which makes me question how weak it would be in this configuration.
I have heard of the reproduction mounts having some problems moving.
Thats just friggin' cool!
Nice... very nice, so where does it weigh in at now? I know my PTR-91 weighs damn near a ton with the PRS stock on it, but that is still slick as hell.
