View Full Version : My theory on F/F

I have followed the developments on Fast and Furious from the beginning, and with the recent executive privilege claimed by Beeho I think there is an unreported link in the background.

After the story broke and Holder finally admitted that guns had walked, I kept waiting for a story about Calderon of Mexico demanding an investigation of what happened and the right people brought to justice. But it never happened. Recall that F/F guns have been traced to hundreds of murders of mexican citizens. Any normal president of a sovereign country would be incensed if this happened.

A couple years ago, when Beeho was visiting Mexico, I heard a press conference where Calderon was blasting the US for the cartels buying guns in the US - this was before F/F broke.

Anyway, my theory is the 1300 requested documents during the coverup implicate Beeho and Calderon - and probably others - as discussing F/F, obstructing justice, and revealing the anti-2nd amendment plan behind F/F. There may also be communications with the Brady's saying this is their "under the radar" plan.

In short, if my theory is right, Beeho had to slap the executive privilege on the documents in order to delay discovery - possibly until after the election. That said, it seems to me these documents will eventually come to light. Should Beeho be re-elected (remote as that seems to me), he could have serious problems in a 2nd term.

I agree with the docs implicating berry and staff, that's why I think Issa is dangling the "all we want are the docs" the entire time

I think your close to the marrow, although I think BeHo strongly suspects he will not be re-elected and by pulling the EP card this stays buried.

My belief is that some people did some really fricking dumb crap at the local level. Got some play so they briefed it up the chain and everyone nodded and said "Oh goody".

Then bad things happened and people are now scrambling to cover their arses. This seemed like a good thing to rant and rave about so Issa and others are using it for political leverage.

Don't get me wrong. I believe that Holder probably lied under oath. But I don't think its a vast conspiracy to hurt the 2A, if it was happening to do that at the same time - then it was just a bonus to them.

As I try to remind people all the time: The Government is *NOT* the Illuminati - its the DMV. No one in the Gubment is smart enough to put together vast plans within plans. Even if someone was that smart; everyone involved would be looking for ways to screw the guy in the cube next to them - not fundamentally change the American landscape.

No, Calderon was told that if Mexico complained publicly that the administration would punish them by withholding foreign aid funds.

The Mexicans are outraged by F&F because of the historic view in Mexico that the US is always interfering in their country.

Uhh...you may not be aware of this, but Issa and Grassley have already uncovered evidence that the objective behind F/F was as the basis for calling for Gun Control to prevent gunwalking. No tinfoil hat, just part of the evidence to date.

Can you provide some cites? All I can find are claims by Issa and Grassley that there is no evidence that says that they weren't looking for gun control, but no evidence against hardly counts as evidence for.

There's this:
According to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, "There’s plenty of evidence developing that the administration planned to use the tragedies of Fast and Furious as rationale to further their goals of a long gun reporting requirement." That's still not evidence.

I'm not claiming that some folks in the Administration aren't in favor of more gun control, but I haven't seen anything that shows that the intent of F&F was more gun control.

Obama was late in pulling the trigger (go figure). I honestly believe the WH knew about this from git-go. If Issa is worth his salt, he'll pursue this. It has the potential for an impeachment IF it proves true. Either way, it is entirely damaging for the WH and his reelection. Simply put, this a$$-clown needs to go. Vote him out or impeach him out, the sooner the better.
