High Park Airtanker Heading South???

I just seen one of the big grey airtankers flying South above Highway 287 tipping its wings as if to say goodbye. Not sure if thats what it was up to or not but the bulk of the High Park fire is under control so thats my guess as it's probably heading to the Waldo fire (hopefully that one and not a new one).

If so, a big thanks to them and all of those involved in fighting and still up here seeing it to the end. Had a lot of coworkers and a few friends affected by this one.

could have been signaling the guys on the ground, could have been looking at stuff or he might of seen you and waved hello/goodbye[Tooth]

We live on the westside of Berthoud and have been in the flight path for most of the battle! Haven't seen um flyin in the last few days!!

Any idea where they are flying in/out of?? Saw them all weekend in Westminster.

The were flying out of Rocky Mountain airport. High Park is now 100% contained so I imagine they're headed south.
