When will this ever end? Just read this on their FB Page:

We're pleased to announce that we've reached an agreement with our partner AT&T to continue airing The Walking Dead. We want to thank our loyal fans for your support.

As expected, in a distinctly different situation, Dish Network has dropped us because of an unrelated lawsuit that has nothing to do with our programming. This unprecedented decision to use its customers as pawns in a lawsuit makes DISH the only major TV provider without AMC. DISH
customers should call 1-855-2-DROP-DISH or click www.SwitchfromDish.com for assistance so they can continue watching AMC and The Walking Dead.

Not using FB I don't know what caused it but Dish does play hardall in negotiations. Services are always being dropped for awhile until contracts are signed. Dish is cheap and one thing I support is their support for unbundling. Providers go for package deals. Take my high rated service and you have take the Knitting Channel and ten other unwatchable channels. Hope it returns.

I am a fan but but I'm not sure I'd want to see it all the time' Some stuff is seriously gross and some is boring soap opera. Is the next season going to be on the same channel? AMC?

No doubt, this fails in comparison to most the other recent threads going right now! More of a "cabin fever" February or March thread when everyone has nothing better to bitch about! Sorry to disappoint Jim...

Im not too worried. Its months before Walking Dead is back anyway, allways seems they find a way to get it done, and thats why Dish is cheaper even though they have superior tech (the Hopper is has it all over the DTV DVRs). besides my GF works for Dish so we get a break on it.

This is startin' to piss me off with Dish. I've been with dish since 1992, I think...back when they weren't even Dish.

Left for a brief 2-year contract with DirecTV. Came back and been a subscriber since...almost 20 years continuously.

I seriously don't wanna switch but I may. DTV has some good incentives going now.

I'm glad someone came in. I don't watch enough TV to warrant buying cable or dish service, so everything I watch that's not on Netflix (yet or otherwise) I just torrent.

Not on mine 11 does not exist and 9610 is the same as 130=HDNMV

Guess I'll play the waiting game for now but I too have been a loyal customer of theirs for a long time. Sucks to have to start thinking about changing.

Just called Dish and they told me that AMC pulled their programming (not the other way around). They offered $10 off a month and a free movie channel for 3 mo to stay with them... I will be switching to DirectTV.
