For some reason, part of me likes that body style. It's probably the same part of me that appreciates Grand Nationals.

I miss my Nova.......
Looks like fun. Wife had a 79 Regal that would have been a prime candidate for such a toy.

Does it have hydraulics?
Bags, homes, bags, Get with the times. Hydro's are so 20th century
Is that a 307?No that is a 388 cubic inch stroked small block Chevy in both pictures.
Beautiful engine.I've gotta ask though. Why?I guess I do not understand the question.
Does it have hydraulics? No it is built for the track and I am not even remotely into stuff like that.

I need to teach you how to wire stuff so it does not turn into a Car-B-Que.
I need to teach you how to wire stuff so it does not turn into a Car-B-Que.That is the original owner who did that. I will post some pictures of what it looks like when I am done under the hood. Thanks for the offer though. I will try to remember to take pictures of all the stuff he had electrical tape on. I am so far from getting this thing on the road it is not even funny.

I thought exactly the same thing....car-b-que[ROFL1]
I thought exactly the same thing....car-b-que[ROFL1]Me and my friends used to call it a nuclear melt down. Have you ever seen what happens when the hot wire for an amp is not on a fuse and grounds out? It is pretty nasty, I used to install stereo equipment for a business so I have seen it a lot. Like I said I did not mess with the wiring do to lack of driving and knowing I was going to go through everything. Also that hot was not hooked up and a lot of those lines are vacuum, they just look like wires cause they are different colors.

I've been tossing around the idea of selling the jeep, maybe the Thruxton (the magic smoke is still contained in the wires - Lucas probably had that day off when it was built) & building a nice hot rod...
What do you think it'll run, Mr. Train?

[Tooth]I do not know what wheel you are talking about but just to clarify the AR39's that used to be on it were not even around in 1996, and the American Racing Torque Thrust M Wheels are brand new I believe as of last year.
Ssssss, it would look mush bether with supreems esay. I guess I am lost with all of the Low rider jokes as I have built it for the track and I am not into that kind of thing. I am interested now so please elaborate.

What did it dyno at? [Coffee]I am sorry I thought I posted it but I guess I did not. It made 500 HP on the Dyno and 500 ft pounds of torque, when the Dyno averaged it out on paper it made 491.4 HP and 500 ft pounds.

What do you think it'll run, Mr. Train? If I do not break any thing and I can get it to hook up I expect it to run a low 12 second 1/4 mile time. I also have a 150 shot of Nitrous I will be running and I expect it to run in the high 11's at that point, I am not sure if I will even use the Nitrous this year. I usually do not run my cars as hard as I can so if I am happy with the first few runs I will not spray. I am running a 388 Stroker with a B&M transmission with a 3800 stall and 4.11 gears with a nice locker, and a 150 shot of NOS.

Probably the only cutless I've seen and thought "cool" in my entire life, sweet car!
Probably the only cutless I've seen and thought "cool" in my entire life, sweet car! Thanks for the compliment, it has taken a lot of work to get it here. I plan on having it finished in the next 2 years or so, it will make car shows here and there but I will not be happy with it until it is perfect.
