I believe it has more to do with the price on why they still have so many.

Really? Online pricing for regular TA31's with flat top TA51 mounts run about $1100, and don't have the tritium front sight post these have. If you can find one of the limited production FDE ones for cheaper, please share!

Saw one in person at Blucore today. Awesome. Ticketed at $1400+, so online, including eBay could save you a couple hundred bucks or more. I should have mine delivered Tuesday!

Yeah, the FDE SCAR is notorious for its different shades of parts. That used to bother me until I realized that the earth isn't one shade either, and the different parts actually create a more realistic camoflauge. I once dura coated an entire AR including the scope to match Magpul FDE. It was very cool looking, but probably not as versatile in the field. Sorta like how woodland camo with its break up pattern blends in better than just plain OD Green.

Took it to the range today. Zeroed quickly in under 25 rounds at 100 yards. Then consistently rang steel head sized targets at 160 yards from a sandbag on the bench. Can't wait to try the BDC next.
