There were lots of guns no one has heard of back then. Spartacus has no guns, and is a bit better. [Flower]They all seem to have the same 'formula' (Boss, Mad Men, etc ). Spartacus is available on DVD, you buy it, then sell when your done, and get the next season. Worth it.

Yeah, when it first aired on Starz the first few episodes were free. Thought all the blood squirting all over the place was a bit much, but they did have some tasteful skin shots. Too bad their leading man died suddenly, but they seemed to have slipped some new dude in there with no problem.

Yea, he has to grow on you, but they all are about the same. Blood squirting can be a bit much, but depending on what they cut off, probably accurate sometimes. Thing is they got rid of a ton of major characters last season. I don't think this will last too long, but too bad, the writing and everything else is near perfect, at least the first time around.

The producers said 1 more season. Stating how many times can you have Spartacus and his group fight Romans. They also said everyone knows the outcome and why drag it out more than 1 season.
I was surprised at the body count and who was killed off.
Between Spartacus , True Blood and a few other shows on cable, what kind of casting call did they use? The overall hotness of woman combined with their physical stature is amazing, to say the least.

Looking for actors in good to great physical condition, excellent skin tone, very muscular, willing to be undressed and comfortable in a large group of cast also undressed. Breast firmness and men's genital size will be part of the casting process.
