Haven't seen it (probably won't) but it looks to be a darker version this time around.
Definitely read up on some reviews before taking the kiddos.

Its Spiderman in his teen and high school, I thought it was a pretty good reboot of Spiderman. There are people dying in the film and guns so idk if its OK for 5 yr old, otherwise a pretty fun movie.

Hopefully the comic writer's won't have him come out of the closet like they did to the Green Latern. Now that would be a sad ending.

Took my little one, who just turned 8 Sunday to see it opening day.
I wouldn't say it's any darker than most things out today. It's a serious film and dialog heavy which makes for a great movie but a little slow for the kiddos. Ava said she enjoyed it and shes a pretty big chicken most times.

They had to make up some kind of an excuse for the movie being so bad.
