Sorry for this last minute but I am head up to this renaissance fair. I've never been and I was wondering if anyone new if cc is ok? I tried looking at the website for any policies or rules but didn't see any.

People walk around with swords and knives and axes all the time at the Ren Fest. So I don't see a problem with a little CC.

No worries, Altair showed up last week and the guards had a blast with him. Never seen so many swords clear sheaths that quickly, ha. Bunch of grown men acting like kids, makes me laugh but I enjoy it.

I saw you during the first joust with the Queen and her courtiers. I intended to come by and say hi at the 2:30, but then the rain came... Never complain about rain, but like many others, after about 20 minutes of downpour, it was just time to go home.

Same here. I didn't think after 30 mins or so I wanted to stick around much longer especially since I had my little girl with me. We need that rain. Sorry I didn't get to meet you Big Bear, the little one was enjoying the kids area with all the animals and rides. First time at the Festival but I definitely want to go back I actually was having a good time.

I haven't been in about 8 years. I really wanted to go but my wife works all weekend, every weekend.

No worry, we continued on with mud jousting in the rain... Hilarious comedy... We definitely need the rain and not a single person was complaining.

Anyways, next time y'all are out, come say hello.

The ladies looked good to me. Something about a woman dressin up in old Midevil time clothes.

Saw ya yesterday, but you were busy paradin' around. Then we went up and saw Puke & Snot, and the wife got tired/hot/cranky so we had to bail...

It was! Completely unscripted but they played off each other like pros... Bad pros, but pros none the less... Can't beat the Stormtrooper doing an Irish gigue holding a pink parasail though, ha!

When people try to take pics:

Guard 1: Captain, we have an assassination attempt!
Guard 2: Captain, they are pointing a Canon at their Majesties!!
Capt of the Guard: no worries mates, it's just a Nikon!!

Hahaha!!

Bear, I didn't know you were the King's trumpeteer! I went to the festival last weekend for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's like Colorado's own little medieval disneyland! I had no idea it would be that big! The wife bought a few handmade ceramic serving platters that looked pretty cool and we ate lots of steaks on sticks and roasted almonds. We also watched and listened to some rock and roll Celtic band that was pretty fun. I've never heard bagpipes played like that before, but as a musician, I thought it was pretty neat. Very good time!

In regards to the OP, yes you can carry concealed there. Heck, you can probably get away with open carry, but you wouldn't fit in very well because everyone else open carrying is carrying weapons that are from another era. [King] [Queen]

Ditch the piece....bring a battle axe, wear a skirt...I mean a kilt and drink beer from a period correct platic solo cup whilst weilding a turkey leg.
