Anybody else hearing these on the radio right now? Part of the message says, "DON'T DROWN"! Really?! Like we need to be reminded of that!?

I heard that too. "Don't cross deep water. Don't Drown..." LMAO!
Heavy rain for almost a full minute just now in Aurora. Then it just sprinkled.

I like the warning when they say.
IF YOU SEE WATER Seek Higher GROUND.
It is really coming down here and some awesome lightning to boot.

Oh God! I am running! It is so hard to post this while I am running. Oh wait it is just the river.
Sometimes I wish that I was the person that was in charge of scripting these warnings. "If you see clouds, start sprinting south. Put head between knees, kiss ass good bye. Transition into handstand, run away on hands when legs are tired." That is all.

I think the phrase they are using is: "Don't Drown, turn around".
I really wish they would stop with these stupid statements, warning tags and the like.
We need to clean the gene pool and everytime some moron has to think twice about showering with the hair dryer it just muddies up the pool.
Quite the rainfall here in Aurora. Is nice.

Rained like mad as I was leaving Westminster on my way to Brighton for work. It just arrived here. Light drizzle as I type this.
We're getting rained on pretty good in Boulder (and can use every bit of it due to how dry it's been). On a side note, can someone tell me how to turn off these Verizon flash flood warnings on my phone, they drive my dogs crazy!
Y'all can thank me for this rain. It's because I cleaned the wheels this afternoon...

haha. thanks. Are those from your convertible cavalier that I saw pictures of somewhere around here? [Flower]
They are indeed from my convertible Cavalier. Came with the car when I bought it. Immediately swapped them out for the rims from my old car...

Rain, lightning, hail. Repeat.
Not complaining one bit....except for the lightning.

if they didn't issue warnings like that, the californians would all drown

I see them as anti Darwin signs. Let the man do his job.

That made me laugh out loud. That would be funny..
