Any recommendations?

I picked up some Winchester .22 LR it was 333 round box and stuff constantly jams. I purchased a thing of CCI ammo at the range and it fed flawlessly but it was $10 for 100 rounds. Anyone have any recommendations on something inexpensive that feeds well?

I put about 300 rounds through the gun today and aside from the jams ont he cheap Winchester it was a blast to shoot.

Remmington bulk 550 seams to run fine in mine. Even with a slide stock. Edit i just checked and i have ver using Federal bulk.

federal and winchester bulk both seem to work for mine, the winchester is a tad bit more accurate out of my gun. I was having a FTEject issue with all ammo until I tweaked the ejection rod about a 1/16th of an inch.

mine likes the CCI's, but it also shoots the Federal bulk pack (blue box) just fine.
haven't tired anything else, but if it shoots that blue box it will shoot anything.

CCI Blazers work for me and seem to be more accurate than the other bulk packs.

I shoot green box Remington in mine, and have never had a problem.

Anything copper jacketed, I find the expose lead or lead with wax on it will eventually jam.

Sorry, .22 lr. Rounds are copper plated or copper washed, not jacketed.
On the other had .22 Mag. Does have copper jacketed rounds. [Tooth]

I have had success with the bulk copper Winchester stuff from WalMart. Luckily mine hasn't been very picky. Do make sure you are loading the magazine properly. Obviously if the rounds aren't stacking right or are catching each others rims they won't feed right. More of an issue when kiddos stuff mags, but, hey who knows.
