Think your days sucks? Try getting you testies muched by a fish...

Search: Ferocious 'testicle-eating fish' caught in Illinois lake (http://www.bing.com/search?q=pacu+fish&form=msnpop)

A scary report that an angler had netted a piranha in Illinois (http://www.bing.com/places/search?q=Illinois%2c+United+States&upgid=14808&qpvt=Illinois&FORM=msnpop)' Lake Lou Yaeger (map it (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?q=Lake+Lou+Yaeger&mkt=en&FORM=msnpop)) soon turned into an even scarier report when authorities identified the fish as a pacu, a close, and much larger, cousin of the piranha that's known in some countries for biting human testicles off (watch a pacu feeding frenzy (http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=pacu+fish&view=detail&mid=F5E1D750C84EA3B8B2FFF5E1D750C84EA3B8B2FF&first=0?ocid=msnpop)). The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (http://www.bing.com/search?q=Illinois+Department+of+Natural+Resources&form=msnpop) is assuring people that pacus pose no threat to humans, but many have pointed to incidents in South America that beg to differ (have pacus ever killed anyone? (http://www.bing.com/search?q=Testicle-eating+fish+that+killed+two+men+caught+by+British+ angler&form=msnpop)).

Ball Eating Fish means something totally different in prison...

On a side note, I don't think I'll be swimming in any lakes known to be home to those greedy little bastards.

I heard they don't like Cheetos, so Ray is safe.

To catch one do you have to be a "master baiter"?

What type of rod wood one use?

Does the color of bait matter, like blue is the most effective?

I take it two baits is acceptable?

Could you bust a bait reeling one in?

I use to have one. A lot of people release it into our native waters because they get too big. They literally grow daily. They're suppose to be herbivores but they'll eat anything.

They did a whole episode on the ball munchin' pacu on River Monsters (Animal Planet). Season 3 "The Mutilator" [Eek2]

Yes, actually double grand master baiter skill level is preferred.

What type of rod wood one use?

Typically morning wood is optimal for use, however hardwood will suffice.

Does the color of bait matter, like blue is the most effective?

The color of the bait doesn't increase effectiveness, however the cleanliness of the bait does.

I take it two baits is acceptable?

Two is typically the amount, but one or three have been seen on occasion.

Could you bust a bait reeling one in?

Using proper breathing techniques should minimize any sort of injury. Again this shouldn't be a problem for a double grand master baiter.

I would volunteer, Mythbusters' style, but I can't seem to find them in my wife's purse.
