Went up in the Gore Range for a yearly camping trip on the weekend of the 23rd. Was hot as hell, dusty and absolutely no cloud cover. Still had a blast though. 80 degrees in the mountains was better than the 100 degrees it was in Town at the time.

Here's a pic of the entertainment

How far could you shoot there? It looks like a designated camp site.

It's actually not a designated campsite. We've just been hunting/camping there so long we added some "improvements". The log benches were cut somewhat flat with a chainsaw years ago. And the clearing is relatively flat, so the wall tent goes up nice.

Some other folks that have also used the area built an outhouse there sometime between Muzzleloader Season and Summer, but the Forest Service came and tore that down.

The longest shot we are able to take is about 260yds down the valley. And there is a nice backstop for closer shooting just down from camp.

What is that on the far right that looks like it has a 6" barrel?

The one on the far right is my 9mm SBR with a 5" Barrel. Built on a dedicated 9mm lower from DDLES.

Looks like a great camp site and you had quite a few toys to choose from. Great times.
