Makes me pretty darn sick! Hope everyone is paying close attention to this still. Blue foreign helmets will make good targets on American soil. Man our way of life is being hammered from all directions.

Dont worry it will happen eventually. What better way? It will start with no more importing and end with some packistani coming to my door, end for him that is.
just more black market will be created, especially in foreign countries. The people will get their guns one way or another.
just look at mexico.

Explains the sell out of 5.45 ammo lately. Someone told me Horandy has been making steel cased 762.39 ammo. Hopefully others will manufacture some good cheap ammo domestically if wolf and others can no longer import. This UN thing makes me believe that importing ammo will cease or be very complicated. Stock up if you can.

Don't worry.... If ratified it will not apply to us.
(Quoting snopes because for once it is a good summary)
http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/untreaty.asp (http://http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/untreaty.asp)
"Suchan said U.S. arms trade law is seen as the global “gold standard” for regulating arms transfers, but doubted many countries would be willing to raise the bar that high. Instead, the treaty that emerges is expected to set a lower global standard – which Suchan said would have the effect of reducing Washington’s ability to press for voluntary arms embargoes against rogue states."
I wonder how true this statement is, and how the real world regulations and enforcement of arms trades and transfer would stack up to the crap that we already have to endure.

I have no intention of following anything the UN says. The Constitution is the law of the land and the UN can go fuck themselves. They are worthless.

Absolute hubris if the administration sends it to the senate.
It will never pass and only motivate people to get to the polls to vote the impostor out.

Hear ye
I think it is time to contact our "Representatives" and advise them ON NO UNCERTAIN TERMS will this Treaty be tolerated by their constituents and if they sign/vote in it's approval they have commited a direct crime against the Constitution and have acted to harm the soviergnty of this nation and will be viewed as a Treasonous act.
And if I as a United States citizen fall within "Foreign Sights" as denoted by the title of this thread I shall hold a foreigner within my sights.

you aren't in "the know", and I can't help you get there! should've taken the red pill...course you wouldn't remember making that choice now would you?
You guys are all aware that we Americans are subject to a number of international suits, right? And anyone here who has a worn a uniform since the Vietnam war are also subject to several international suits. America doesn't recognize other nation's (especially those like Iran) courts as legitimate... that is until Obama sees this and starts selling out his "own" countrymen... [Bang]

The sell out is due to mfg import wait times. Hornaday is subbbng the steel case from tula or wolf. Everyone forgets the first ban of russian ammo. It's not a matter of waiting for the next shipment, but having already stocked up, years ago.

Stocking up NEVER stops for me. When it comes to ammo one can never have enough until he is dead!

Fox should check their "news" better... Like posting the text of the treaty if it is real...
