Once again USARIEM has come back to the top of Pikes Peak. Those that have been there might miss the other building on top with the MA address.
This testing will be the last for some friends of mine that work there. I have been supporting them since we went to Bolivia back in 1990. I have supported them here since 93.
High altitude testing and it's affects have been very important in keeping today's Solder fit and able to complete the mission. A few pictures from the other day.
Just one of the many things I do. [Coffee] And yes, the place is covered from those that have been tested there. ;)http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/pikespeak037Medium.jpghttp://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/pikespeak033Medium.jpghttp://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/pikespeak014Medium.jpghttp://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/pikespeak035Medium.jpg

That commute would really suck, but would be beautiful
I was just up at the top today! took my dad up there for his 60th b-day! We rode the train up....I won't do it again. only got 1/2 hour at the top which I would have liked more time, I would drive next time.
beautiful view, and I loved the cooler temps!
Hey! I recognize that guy! Good work Jerry.
We took the train up a few years ago New Year's Eve day and had to stop 3/4 mile from the summit due to high winds.
My wife posted a pic on Facebook today from 7/19/1992 of me and my two boys posing at the sign on top. We went up after barely two weeks after moving to Colorado (our fist trip was to RMNP.). My youngest, 6-1/2 years old at the time, was so carsick from the ride up, I had to hold him up for the pic.
Don't laugh at the shorts please. :D

Wed was pretty warm but it was cold on Tuesday. I never go up unless I have my jacket.

I like how all your shorts have matching 1990's teal/blue in them. You should see some of the pictures of my family in the 90's... Matching windbreakers and all that! hahaha [ROFL2]

I took a sweatshirt but never put it on. I enjoy the cold. It was windy as expected but really not that cold. I think it was 38 or so.

So, which have better endurance, the waste baskets or the box?

[Coffee] Wed was the first day of testing. I always like the looks on some of the solders faces while they are running on the treadmill hooked up to the PFT's.
Anyone that has been in the Military has seen the "What have I got myself into now" look. [Flower]
Last time was bikes and there was one girl airman that was also a pro bike rider and trained here. She was flat amazing to watch.
