I pay $102/mo with Verizon on their smartphone unlimited plan (but may be switching to our work plan which is just $40/mo for adding my line). I have the RAZR MAXX and my plan has unlimited text, web, and I think I'm currently at 450min.

This is our latest plan. I think I have been with them all over the yrs, and in my opinion, they are all equally a pain in the butt!! [ROFL1]
Good luck on the search!
I pay $174 / mo with Verizon and two droid razr maxx phones. 2000 minutes, unlimited texts, and unlimited data.

$80 per year. [Beer]
I have a company cell phone and we too have tried all of them over the years. I am not going to quote you prices because we have 20 lines so it won't compare well but we keep going back to T-Mobile because the service (actual phone service not necessarily customer) is the best. They are supposed to get the iphone at some point but who knows. I have a Galaxy S2 and like it better than the iphone personally.

That's all a cell phone would be worth to me ... who you got your service through?
Honest to God if I had to pay over $100/mo for cell service the damn thing better fellate me once a day.
My wifes phone is 77 per month, 700 minutes unlimited everything else including mobile to mobile so it might as well be unlimited everything. Sprint is who we have and so far so good. I am probably going to get a cell phone here soon but damn they are expensive. I am going to keep an eye on this thread.

Is that with some kind of employee discount? Verizon was terrible back in the day when I had them, but it's been so long I guess a lot could have changed.

I pay $183 for 2 smartphones, 1 basic phone, 700 shared minutes and unlimited messaging
thats the plan Im looking at with at& t and they advertise like 49.99
But does that include the texting, data, and minutes? My plan is advertised at the exact same price, but then that's just for the minutes... when I look at the bill it says:
Minutes xxxx $xx.xx
Data plan $xx.xx
Text (unlimited)$xx.xx
Total $xxx.xx

There's this option Casio G'zOne Commando Android Phone (Verizon Wireless) (http://www.amazon.com/Casio-Commando-Android-Verizon-Wireless/dp/B004XDDOPI)
It's tough but also a terrible smart phone.
Boost mobile $55 a month with the potential to go down to $40 a month with 18 months of on time payments.
Just got my first smartphone last month. From my research Boost is part of Sprint and you get there same coverage.

I thought going with them or Virgin but I travel to Wyoming & Montana too often. Sprint's network blows.

I went to Durango/Aztec two weeks ago and had service all along I-25 but lost service from Walsenberg to Pagosa Springs along HWY 160. My wifes Cricket lost service also but she was able to text still and my service was completely gone.

ATT sells the samsung rugby smart. I hear it is about average for a cell phone but very tough. dust, water, and shock proof, also has special glass. I have been told you can do email and text on it and call just fine. but really can only run one app at a time. it runs android OS.

Check around then on line, there are a few providers doing pre paid cell service. This eliminates that pesky early termination fee, if you don't like the service.
$160 for verizon with 2 smart phones. Unlimited everything but I think 1000 minutes shared. We never come close because most people we talk to are on verizon.

Sprint is the only carrier left with unlimited data. Just remember that.
$227 a month.
Four phones.
Unlimited everything except talk time. Can't remember how many minutes we share but mobile-to-mobile is unlimited.

I'm still amazed what you guys pay for cell phones.
I'll stick with my land line.
What's kinda funny is just before I typed this we got a phone call, some friends of ours were trying to send us a text message and it turned it into a "text to speech" thing and to listen to the message all I had to do is "press 1".
I was on a rotary phone.

I have a Tracfone that I use when I go out. It came with double min and it is my second one. I have had the same # since 2006. I have 400min on it as of now. 120 min and 90 days are $20
Great coverage and sound. I do not need to be in touch 24/7. [Flower]
4 lines, 2k min each, unlimited text and Web for each line comes out to about $75 a month for all of us. [Coffee] But its an employee plan

Screw those apple overpriced p.o.s. Apple products suck. Father in-law has an iphone, I have an Android. I get better service even when in the most remote locations. My apps are cheaper and sound clarity is much better than his. My driod has more memory than his does. And I have droped my droid on the face in a stone parking lot...nothing happened. He dropped his iphone on it's side with the little rubber iphone condom installed in the house on the carpet and the screen shattered. cheap junk. Piss on apple.
