What happened 2,000, 200, or 20 years ago doesn't really change the fact that I don't have A/C and it was HOT today! [Rant1]

If you wait long enough the global cooling will take care of you. If I were you I would fire up the furnace just to make sure you are going to be okay.

yep. they are going to make us all freeze to death.

I am proposing free gasoline and tax incentives on under 20mpg vehicles.

A number of the "global warming" scientists were promoting "ice age" just a few years earlier. They have no clue. Now global warming means environmental change.

I liken it to "there is weather out there".

and they still can't predict it a couple of days out much less a couple of hundred years...

CO2 levels in the ocean are more concerning IMO, but that may or may not be a direct effect of fossil fuels.

They don't know...

They also cannot explain why the other planets in our system are experiencing similar temperature changes since it is obviously all man created.

this...
meteorologists and climatologists are guessing, granted its an educated guess... most will still tell you they cannot be 100% sure; the others are lying.

its a cycle, one we cannot control. Throwing tax money at it wont fix anything.

its just more FUD

Quoting from the actual article:

However, the study actually does none of the above. "Our study doesn't go against anthropogenic global warming in any way," said Robert Wilson, a paleoclimatologist at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and a co-author of the study, which appeared July 8 in the journal Nature Climate Change. The tree rings do help fill in a piece of Earth's complicated climate puzzle, he said. However, it is climate change deniers who seem to have misconstrued the bigger picture.

In the words of the great and all-powerful Yogurt- "Wiseguys, pfft!"

I kept saying it all winter in Fort Drum (we went a week at -10 and lower) "yeah, global warming my ass!"
