How long do you think the following would last if dropped into the wilderness?
A democrat
A republican
A patriot
I have my opinion but will wait to see others.
D - 1 month
R - 1 month
P - several years, depending on schooling... course, this is dependent on your definition of "Patriot"....

If by "Patriot" you are referring to the type of main characters in Rawles' book Patriots, then I think you have yourself an answer.

So I'll go ahead and guess that the Dem will last maybe a week... that is until he gets a violence case of the shits because he ate something he shouldn't have, get dehydrated and die shortly thereafter. The Republican will last a little longer but eventually succumb to the elements. The Patriot is at home... [Coffee]
Dem- 30 minutes after his cell phone dies.
Rep (non patriot) - 30 minutes after he realizes money and ego are useless.
Patriot - It's just another Tuesday.
The democrat would last 4 days, he has heard that on the news media that man cannot live for nore than 4 days without water. And the fact that the gov. is not bringing him any he will perish.
The repub will last a week he cannot outsource his needs to china so he will not recieve his goods in time and he has no idea how to create his existance.
The good ole redneck, patriot what ever moniker you place on him will survive and thrive, as he is what built America, and knows what Work means and how to make due with what he is given.
Need to be more specific the Mtn...
I know at least a dozen boulder area democrats that would be fine out there for a while.
Same with the Republicans... avid outdoorsmen/women that can take care of them selves.
And i bet there are patriots that would not last the week.
Now say if you pulled the same genre's of people from DC or a major urban area the Patriot has the best shot

Man, I read this wrong. I thought the choices were Democrat, Republican and a parrot. I need to get my eyes checked. Anyway,a parrot would last the longest, since they live in the wild. A patriot, with a parrot, living in the wild would probably have a leg up on the Dem and Republican.
