Any recommendation on a new break for my AK? Currently has the slant one on.
Thanks.

I have one of these

2 of these 1 on a saiga and 1 on a slr-106

But i still like the simplicity of this unit.

I think the 74 style muzzle brake is effective and I like the look, but honestly, the slant brake works fine. I'd hold off on the brake and buy more ammo.
My personal favorite is the Tantal brake.
It looks slick and controls muzzle climb rather well.I also use the Amd stlye brake which also is great for controlling muzzle climb.

If having a bayonet is a must this works well: http://www.cncwarrior.com/shop/22641-romanian-aimr-flash-hider/
I have it on my Zombie chopper. The plain old slant breaks are a relatively inexpensive way to reach 922r.

If you want duck, when I get a chance to meet up with you I can lend you an amd brake and a tantal brake for you to try out.
The slant brake looks cool but how does it affect performance compared to the stock brake my SGL21-84 came with ? If it was negligible I may consider putting one on

I have a used slant brake [somewhere] i could send you to road test. I like both, the slant is less obnoxious to anyone around you when shooting. However being behind the trigger i don't care:)
