...another one of my hobbies is Rally driving our Evo...

My friend Jon and I run this car at CORE out in Deertrail somewhat often for SCCA Rallycross.

If I'm not driving Im co-driving or navigator for some of the harder and longer endurance sprints.

We're having new decals made for this new season, we changed our number from 151/51 to 195/95

I've got an old beater Impreza and have been thinking about getting into these events they look like fun.

Just not sure I want to start the racing addiction again.

But yea, it's an absolute blast!! I hate the guys who have these Evo's and STi's and they've never seen so much as a dirt road... Its disgraceful to the cars heritage

I had a buddy in Wyoming that ran autocross in his Evo. It's pretty cool seeing a car pull the rear inside wheel off the ground while braking into a corner.

I used to have a black '05 WRX and loved it until a Tahoe still sporting dealer plates nailed me from behind. Dude caused a 6 car pile up coming down Floyd hill. I was the bumper... She was totaled to say the least. I bought my STi the next morning!! '06 Silver, still 100% stock. Her name is Stella.

Yes sir, sure is! J. Walkow! my good friend of quite some time. :D He lives just a few miles from me. I was over there the other day fixin this nasty boost leak problem we were having. I'll be at the rallycross on saturday tearing it up most likely.

FP Green doesnt flow enough for 500 actually, and nor do DW 850's on E85 or pump gas.

Which was the issue I was running into, I should have converted to '07 fueling so I could use top feed injectors instead of side feeds. The side feeds are limited to 850cc injectors as the max. I needed 1200's or bigger to really fully use the FP Green.

The Green I think was only at 16-18psi or so...no where near done...but where I had it was super Efficient.

On the last tune I had it on on Pump gas it made 330whp and 370 tq...I could've got more out of it, I just didnt bother cause I didnt want to risk running my injectors static..

These numbers were on Revolutions Performance Dyno btw..

'06 are known for having ringland detonation issues, so I'd definitely at LEAST have it tuned...even bone stock, have it tuned. the OEM tune is absolute shit..its not as horrible as the stock Evo tune...those are just disgustingly rich with too much timing in the works..

The STi OE tune is better on fueling than the Evo, but definitely would benefit in both power/torque/throttle response and MPG from a tune..

If you have a Wideband (preferably an Innovate) I'd be happy to street tune you if you're close..or if not, for a Beer and some grub? :P

Dang that's no good. I bought her with just over 20k and am now at 75k since Feb 2009. Haven't had any issues except squeaky struts. I'm sure a good tune would serve me well. Who up in the Denver/Boulder area would you recommend I take her to?

Brian is good, but does more Evo's than STi's but still a great tuner, and then Harvey is an awesome Subaru tuner!!

Current set up:
FP Green, Gsc Springs, Gsc S1 cams, Ferrea 6000 series +1mm valves, 255 Walboro, Aeromotive Fuel rail, RC 1000 injectors, AMS fuel line, AEM CAI, ETS 3" intercooler, Xs Power UICP, Custom LICP, Megan Manifold, Invidia 3" N1 Exhaust & downpipe, Forge BOV, E85.

Havent had it dyno'd so I'm not sure what the numbers are.....

This is after a couple of runs what the dust did....simply sooo much dust in the air from tearing up the track that it ended up making me look blonde...and notice the Invincible Performance Bandana to keep the damn dust out of my mouth ah.
