Yep... back where I'm originally from... the beautiful island of Guam is celebrating Liberation Day.

The Second Battle of Guam (July 21 — August 10, 1944) was the American capture of the Japanese held island of Guam, a United States territory (in the Mariana Islands) during the Pacific campaign of World War II. (<Wikipedia)

On board ship we had Spam for all 3 meals as part of commemoration.
Our cooks, 4 or 5 out of them were from Guam and joined to serve
due to US forces liberating them from the Japanese[Marine][AH64][Jeep][Troops][DC3][Tomcat][Battle]

We have so much typhoons that kill our power/electricity... and I'm talking weeks if not months... this would be one of many things we go to when sh*t hits the fan[ROFL1]
