Even with channel 9 news interviewing people outside the show today in Loveland.............at LEAST four times the normal number of people came in....and they were not messing around!!! I have never...EVER...seen so many people buying guns in Loveland.

The show is normally VERY slow....and today it was packed from open to close!

I will try to get a head-count from the promoters tomorrow and pass on the information.

I was assuming the incident in Aurora might have caused a negative reaction. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I suspect that because of the tragedy, people are buying up what they can in fear of what might happen in the near future???? IMHO.

No kidding.....had the movie madness gone down in Wyoming....where every citizen is allowed to carry concealed with no permit....it would have ended much sooner.

Interesting dynamic.....some people were DUMPING guns for half-value.....and right behind them...were others willing to pay anything to buy one.

Good to hear though.

Just glad it wasn't a situation where people were cowering and hiding out of political correctness.

Good to hear. Hopefully people aren't just buying in fear of political action taken against their rights and they are purchasing to protect themselves from the evils of the world.

I have plenty of .22's....not marking them up due to conditions. No need to wait.

Although...I would be snatching up some ammo......the ammo guy at the show nearly sold out! He was going back home tonight to restock....even though he rented a hotel room for the night.

Good to hear though.

I ordered 10 PMAGs yesterday.

Needed them anyway but I slammed out that order like they were being outlawed tomorrow.

I can guarantee you no legislation will come of this.

1) The internet

2) Election year.

I rest my case, don't need to go more detailed then that, can't argue [Coffee]

Hope you're right. But I could see legislation coming after Obama is reelected.

After re-election perhaps depending on the make up of house and senate. GOP majority maybe, with some "common sense" GOassholes. Get the next SC justice in place and a revival of dormant laws could be arm twisted too.

Right now the mention og NEW Gun Law, is on hold. Election fears especially in tight races can tip the scales to GOP. Also the mention of New Laws will get the gun owner vote out en mass vs the bussed in from "under privileged" neighborhood voters.
