Yup, took some years off the mans life. Being a football player, I hate seeing this stuff. Just look at the recent events with Junior Seau. Concussions make me angry at the glorification of knockouts in sports.

It's a game someone chooses to play and enters knowng the risks. I boxed wrestled and played hockey for over 15 years. I chose to and I will accept whatever happens to me later in life. I am certainly not going to try and tell anyone else what they can and can't do because of my choices or some silly, feel good need to protect everyone.
Life is hard and no one makes it out alive. Enjoy your life while you are here.

There are rules in rugby against high tackles (anything above the shoulders). The fact that the tacklers upper arm collided with the runners jaw makes it a high tackle.

I loved playing rugby (played about 10 years). I'll probably start playing again once I'm done deploying every couple of months (and needing to be healthy enough to do so. ;) )
