It seems that the anti-gun people always coordinate their attacks. Bloomberg is in the inner circle so you can bet his magazine is pushing HCI's (AKA Brady Campaign) talking points. Saw this article today, seems the focus will be on magazines again. Time to stock up?

Yeah but lets be honest... how many mags do you really need?

Answer: As many as I f*cking want... This is America! [AR15]

Looking to stock up now is pointless. This is something that should have been done decades ago, unless you were not of age to buy guns 10-20 years ago.

Anyone who didn't quietly put away what they wanted after the nonsense in '08 exhibits a decided lack of forethought...

Sorry to ask what will be perceived as a stupid question, but will you explain why you think it's pointless now?

It is certainly not pointless IMHO, it is just more expensive.

In my younger day I used to be able to load pretty quick, but not this quick

Bought 10 new PMAGs this past weekend as a result of this ruckus. Anti-gunners have no idea how good they are for the gun business.

Because panic buying something that aim surplus has or had for $12 ea delivered as well as other companies, is useless.
The "I can't find any mags, ANYONE want to sell me some" gets the guys who think their base price AR is now worth $1500, listing shit for ungodly prices, which someone will buy. I've seen it here, over priced items that get bumped for 3-4 weeks then some newbie or panic buyer pays full boat.
Hint, it doesn't sell in 1 week 2 tops there is a reason.
Sorry kind of veered way OT.
ANYWAY

ALL of you should have purchased gun accessories anytime you had some spare coin, just like when you located a few boxes of ammo after O was voted in.
You panicked because THERE'S NO AMMO ANYWHERE. Well that's a hint to divest your cash for something that ammo goes in. Without ammo and a device capable of holding it, you have expensive boat paddles.
Buy now, no one is stopping you. However if and when you need money for "that new toy" don't be upset when your $25-30 AK or AR tapco mags don't sell.

You do not wait to run out of gas to fill your tank.

Maybe i'll be proven wrong.

Arg... Im not ready for everything to be out of stock because of this panic buying spawned by the shooting paired with what was already coming with the election.

Current events be damned, this is just a convenient time for me to add to my collection and stock up on ammo and mags. If the price is somewhat reasonable, then I will. It's hard to tell if and when the price will jump or demand will increase, so I just try to do what I can afford and what the wife will agree to.
