Don't you have to have a storefront now to get one? (don't know if you do or not just remember reading that)

I don't believe so. However I have heard that some companies don't like to ship stuff to you unless you have a no kidding store.

Store front is not necessarily a requirement, however your business location needs to be zoned for the business intended. Manufacturing, sales, etc....

I was gonna hold out until I actually got the license before I reveal specifics. I have attorney's I need to fet my ideas through and of course AFT regulations. I need to see how much all its gonna cost me and how much i want to invest. i have a general idea of what I want to do but of course it all cost $$.

Here are some generalities until I etch it in stone; SBR and Silencers, as well as conversion of SBR's and shot guns. Conversions to an SBR and sawed off shot guns are cheaper for the consumer and only require a $5 transfer verses if you do it yourself, the cost is $200 for tax stamp.

Like I said nothing in stone yet. The biggest hurdle is acquiring the FFL an d SOT and don't want to count the chickens before there hatched or get the cart in front of the horse....

Will notify of the services once license is in hand...

Application is in, background has cleared. Now it goes to local office, they then sent out an agent to interview; check location and make sure what your doing complies with Fed, county, local, state laws and ordinances.

Nope. Lisa and I have one for her business in our home.

It's a small, very low-volume business but we've only had one issue. One dealer (in a state that I will not name) refused to send a rifle to us because the paper FFL only has our 5-digit zip, yet online it shows the 5+4 zip code. A call to the AT of F proved to our satisfaction that it doesn't matter but the dealer still refused to ship it. It was a Gun Broker purchase and the poor guy had to find another FFL. But he understood and didn't blame us because there's nothing we could do.

So far, nearly a year in, we haven't had any other problems.
