View Full Version : Holmes' notebook...

Did someone screw up and this could have been prevented? A psychologist who works at the campus Holmes attended until recently received a parcel from the shooter this week. It contains details of his attack:

“Inside the package was a notebook full of details about how he was going to kill people,” the source told FoxNews.com. “There were drawings of what he was going to do in it -- drawings and illustrations of the massacre."
But, where it really gets fishy:

The source said the package had been in the mailroom since July 12, though another source who confirmed the discovery to FoxNews.com could not say if the package arrived prior to Friday's massacre. It was not clear why it had not been delivered to the psychiatrist. The notebook is now in possession of the FBI.
So more evidence and proof of premeditation. The article (here (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/07/25/exclusive-movie-massacre-suspect-laid-out-plans-in-package-mailed-to/)) also has some silly use of "high-capacity drum clip" to which I have no idea what they're talking about [Coffee].
So a new twist in this whole messy situation.

It will be interesting how this plays out. If the shrink had read it he'd be obligated to notify authorities.

The problem with nutters is that they say say crazy stuff that can be hard to believe. If this was read at all the shrink is toast no matter what his excuse.

A notebook was found addressed to a University MENTAL health official. The package was postmarked July 12th. To bad it was not found until today.

That's extremely sad... could you imagine being a mailroom worker being told about this? The What IF games will continue for years...

Off topic but the best one I read was "one hundred round barrel clip." I considered chiming in but when you've just got done explaining the difference between an assault rifle and a semi automatic and then the very next reply is "why was this man allowed to buy an assault rifle?!" you start to get weary.

This could be an example of the strong clues the deranged give in advance of their act. If only it could have been seen, perhaps so much sadness and loss could have been avoided.

AND if Columbine teachers and principal took the bullying issue serious, the events that unfolded afterwards might have not only saved lives but we'd still have no BG checks at gunshows.

Let me clear up the confusion of the "100 round drum clip". My buddies, uncles, fathers, neighbor 'once removed' has one. This guy was a former Black Op's-Delta-K9-Sniper-Recon-Ranger (you know, the guy that taught Chuck Norris everything he knows)

I read it on the Interwebz, so it must be true [Beer]
