Hey hunter, tell us a bit about yourself. Favorite restaurant for quick food in Wheat Ridge, etc.

Hello all. A couple of my favorite Italian places to eat in Wheat Ridge are Amici's on Wads and Pietra's on 44th. In the winter I enjoy sledding with the kids on that huge hill on Ralston & Kipling. They generally have a great fireworks display there every year on Independence Day. I like to attend the Edgewater display which is usually the day before the Arvada display. I have a soft spot for that Edgwater display because I attended Jefferson Senior just up the street on Pierce so it's kind of nostalgic. I also enjoy social gatherings at Silver Bullet just off of the intersection of 38th & Harlan. Also, in my opinion I think there are too many Bubba Chinos restaurants popping up around the area; it is funny however when people argue over if it's better than Chubby's because the owners of both institutions are the same family! Anyway, I am looking forward now to the Carnation Festival at Anderson park coming up in August. It's a good time for the kids playing on the little carnival they have there and a great opportunity to chew on some of that Olathe Sweet Corn that they buy by the bushel from Heine's Market. Hope to see y'all there!
