Thanks guys for your support. This deployment has been very stressful. He has been hit a couple of times and the time not hearing from him was nerve racking.
He got shot in the hand, took a ricochet in the forearm and some shrapnel in back of his right leg and butt. All minor wounds compaired to what some of his squad took.
He will be transfering to Fort Carson in a few months and unfortunately will go into his new brigades schedule. He looks to redeploy in less than a year. He hopes he will get a cushy job in a FOB next trip. Once again thank you all and I will relay your messages of support and thanks
