I have an odd question - Denver has made it clear that certain laws throughout our state do not apply to them due to their "Home Rule City" statutes.
Why, then, are they permitted to participate in state politics and vote on statewide initiatives? Why don't we have two ballot options - Example:
1. The current State Government wishes to build concentration camps for conservatives and eventually exterminate them.
A. Sounds Great!
B. Not So Much...
C. (Denver Only) Todavía tenemos los conservadores aquí? Recibe las horcas!
D. (Denver Only) I'm too busy smoking pot to participate in such a grand scheme, so no thanks.
Discuss.
