DENVER - The man shot and killed by Denver police Tuesday has been identified as 22-year-old Kevin Ryberg.
Police say an officer shot Ryberg after he slipped out of his handcuffs in the back of a patrol car and attacked an officer who was transporting him to District 2 headquarters.
The 22-year-old was picked up on weapons and drug charges in a Colfax hotel in the 6300 block of East 39th Avenue.

John, I agree... woah, hang on, the bullshit fumes are making me dizzy, I got passed over for promotion at one job because I was white. The guy who got promoted instead? Hispanic, and he'd been working there 2 months LESS than I had.

We need to stop this madness... the guy was in handcuffs, when will they stop saying someone is a "victim" of a police shooting and say "The suspect escaped custody and was shot by the police."

I understand 100% where you are coming but in a court of law, "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" is still a great part of this country.
Just like the shooting case. We all know that douche did it and we all would like to
see swift justice and court trial etc, but everyone in this country has this right.
One of the few countries and is one of the reasons this makes our country great.
Wether the suspect did what he did to get ventilated is what the courts are for and to
ultimatly come out with the facts.

Very true, Gabe, but time and place is the key element to this. Remember what we stress here- when the cops put you in cuffs don't fight there, it's better to fight it in court or what have you. Another example of stupid games/stupid prizes.

I agree whole heartedly. Watching COPS, there are countless people who "talk" themselves into jail just
to get out of that 1 night of jail when they screwed up.

This incident to me means one less scumbag on the streets.
