I think that I am going to make it my goal this weekend to do everything that you listed on your miss list, that way your efforts are not in vain. Some times I forget the lists of stuff that I would write up while deployed over seas. I remember that I had a solid six month schedule that I planned with everything that I wanted to do and everything that I missed doing. Then when I got back I just got drunk all the time and the plan went to shit, but I feel where you are coming from.

Stay strong, and do let us know if there is anything that you would like to get in a care package. I am sure a couple people on there could swing some stuff, at least TP.

I know the things I miss the most when I'm deployed are:

Wife
Dogs
Having a solid bowel movement in my own toilet
Showering in my own shower without shower shoes
Being able to go wherever I want when I want to go there

Hang in there buddy and stay safe. Thanks for your service!

I'm a little farther forward than that, but not by much. I know there are folks out there having a REALLY hard time. Josh is out there pretty far.

You are in my old stomping grounds, although it is a bit more dangerous this time around. Aren't you almost done?
