A big effing eff-you to MS Windows... I have a little $200 Toshiba netbook that I travel with and surf the web while lounging at home. This thing came with Windows 7 Starter and up to this point has served me well for just what I use it for.

So now after finding a really cool image to post as my wallpaper, I just realized that with starter edition there is only one background which apparently cannot be changed... if somebody knows a way than eff Windows even harder for making it to effing hard to find... WTF is really all I can say... I'm stuck with a baby effing blue background with swirly white $hit until this thing dies from a virus... Thanks MS for sparing that huge block of bloated screen management code that you haven't changed since windows 3.1 so my $200 dollar computer could actually run...

To make it worse I look over and see my wife working on here new Mac Retina display then looking back at this thing... Emperor Palpatine (Steve Jobs) is gone in body, and transferred in soul to a giant computer in cupertino and laughing at me through my effing webcam right now... and the Chinese sweat shops are literally working themselves to death... Eff you too mac...

Eff Windows again...
eff computers...
eff my effing droid smart phone which google uses to spy on me and my effing biological functions...
eff the Chinese govt for suppressing their effing currency so they can the tech jobs that make $hitty effing computer products...
eff their olympians too...
and eff the effing tanner gun show just because

End of this rant. 0/10 expected...[Bang]

I'll say it before anyone else: Linux (specifically Ubuntu). Free, stable, secure, customizable. Makes perfect sense on a netbook that you're probably just surfing and emailing on.

[Peep]

I use winblows on most of my machines, but the more I have to deal with it, the more I'm thinking of going to Linux full time with windows running in a VM for the crap I HAVE to run in windows...

I've used it on workstations but never installed it before. I've considered something like this but dual booting rather than completely switching.
