Looking for quality and fair priced mechanic in the aurora area. Anyone know of one?

What kind of work do you need?


I have a couple of friends that are certified mechanics that are hungry for some cash... but will probably have to do the work at you place...

I have a couple of friends that are certified mechanics that are hungry for some cash... but will probably have to do the work at you place...

Need breaks and rotors done (i believe) and also 100,000 mile tune up (like spark plugs etc). I can do a lot of that stuff, I just don't have the time.

As far as I know he'll work on anything. I saw all manner of vehicles in his old shop from Jeeps to Subarus to Camrys. I know he specializes in European, but not exclusively.

Since he has his own small business I assume he is rather busy. If someone here knows and could answer with a yes or no and almost no effort, might that not be better than wasting his time?

What do you mean you don't work on X. I was told by jim you did and shouldn't cost more than $100. WTF do i do now i have no car $%^&*
Business that list contact info have it for a reason. If he is busy i'm sure his calls go to voice mail.

If you don't make arrangements with him, I recommend Johnson's auto repair on 6th Ave just west of Buckley/Airport in Aurora.

Another +1 for tmleadr03. Helped me with my corolla emissions issues a few years back. Didn't even complain about working on Japanese crap while I was close enough to hear ;-) Class act.
