Has anyone shot one of these yet and what do they think? A buddy of mine got one and I haven't shot it yet but I really like it for numerous reasons but I was wanting to hear what people disliked about it.

Its actually really nice for a 380. Not terrible kick, standard sig trigger. If I liked the 380 caliber, I'd grab one.

I am talking about the 9mm version. I like the .380 too, but didn't consider the gun at all because I wasn't interested in having a .380. I have numerous 9mm and don't want to add another caliber, hence my thought on possibly selling my airweight .38

75 rounds down the pipe ( cheap Federal 115 gr. ) and no problems. Another 100 or so rounds and I will start trying SD rounds for carry, if I can find a holster for it that is.
And no, none of my P 238 holsters fit it.
The 938's slightly larger grip feels a bit easier to hold on to, and seems to be just as accurate as the 238.
The only problem I have had is with the 7 round magazine ( clip [ROFL1] ).
When fully loaded with 7 rounds and a chambered round, the second round in the magazine tends to want to follow first one forward after firing the chambered round.
I am going to see if this problem persists after a few hundred rounds working the Mag spring.

You are forgiven.

I think I need to buy this gun. I really like it. But I would like to shoot it first.

If you can wait a week,( I start my week on the emergency service truck Friday ) you can pay the range fee at the Firing Line and I will let you put a few magazines through mine ............[Tooth]
Send me a reminder PM next Friday and we can plan to meet up there sometime.

Compared a p938 and kimber solo at Sportsmans in Thornton. Same size, just different price couldn't decide which one was a better in my hand

The 938 is great (if the magazines are ridiculously expensive)

I thought it would be really a handful (it really is tiny, it's about 1/8" of an inch larger than the 238), but it's really not. Even the wife (who has stolen it from me) thinks it's great.

good ergo's, comes right up on sights, nice trigger

yeah, it's a sweetie

and yeah, +1 on a holster.

tiny tiny package (really could be a pocket pistol) with 9mm stopping power (ok, stop laughing, it is a LOT better than .380)

Holster for the 938 here (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/MiniTuck/tabid/91/List/0/ProductID/6/CategoryID/1/Level/1/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName,ProductName)

Got one for the 238 for the gf and myself.. it's the mini-tuck and it fits just fine on me and her, and I outweigh her by 100#'s.

How does this compare to the new M&P Shield?

I just picked one up this week. Hoping to put some rounds through it this weekend. I really like the ergonomics of it and that it's 9mm. I give my range report after I get out this weekend.

Well, I wanted to meet you at the firing line and test that pistol, but I just got back from camping. How did it shoot?

I won't be off the EM. Service truck until Friday 8/17/12. And am planning on taking that Friday off. So I am planning on being at the Firing Line around opening time. See my previous post about shooting the P938, it is Hoot to shoot.

What ? You think I am going to bring only one handgun and shoot only one Magizine full and then leave ?
You know me better than that, by 1100 hrs I will just be getting warmed up.
Besides I need to also sight in a M&P 15-22 and a 1022 takedown. [AR15]

So, here's my brief report on the P938...buy one!!! I put almost 200 rounds through it on Sunday. I tried 124 grain WWB JHP, Federal 115 grain Ball ammo, and Blazer 115 grain Ball ammo. The only issues I experienced were the following:

1. Try shooting 200 rounds for the first time though such a small frame weapon with as much checkering on it and tell me your hands won't hurt at all.

2. Around 170 rounds into it, I started experiencing FTF. Based on how dirty the weapon was at that point, I'm not surprised. After a little bit of CLP, the FTF's stopped occurring.

The minimum range I engaged was 3 yards and the maximum was 8 yards. I have to say that this weapon was surprisingly more accurate for such a small gun than I expected.

I normally switched between a Glock 19 and Kimber Custom Pro CDP II as my EDC before I bought the P938. Now,I can see myself carrying the P938 a lot more than than the others from this point forward.

I can't find the ad for the life of me, but one of the industry partners put up an ad stating that they just got a bunch in.....Can't remember who it was either.

I wonder if they do price matching here? I picked up the same P938 in the pic for a lot less than that price elsewhere.

Just an FYI for the P938 owners, I found out that the leather IWB holsters for a 3" non-railed 1911 will work pretty good for the P938. A touch loose, but until someone starts making holsters for these, it will work in a pinch.....[Tooth]

Got the wife a P938 for an upgrade from the P238.

The P938 is a touch bigger but not nearly uncomfortable but it does have a very slim grip for my paws but that will be addressed when I make a new set of grips for it. We fired 250 rounds through it without a hiccup. 4yds it seemed a touch high but at 8 it was dead on with factory ammo (pmc).

I noticed that it didn't like Seller Belot ammo at all, it was all over the target. Very cool gun I just wished we waited till the end of sept when Machinegun tours took a $100 off of the tag, my luck I bought hers there on the 9th. I am looking forward to working up a load for this gun and seeing what it could really do.

I got my P938 back from Sig today. It was a 2.5 week turn around time for them to perform the repairs for the FTE's. They replaced the slide, recoil spring, and extractor. They test fired 40 rounds of Blazer 124 grain FMJ w/ no FTE's. I'm taking it out Saturday morning to put another 100+ rds through it for my own gratification. I'm extremely happy with Sig's customer service!!! I hope I get through the next 100 rds w/o any FTE's.
