Anyone have one? I'd appreciate opinions, good, bad or?
I'm looking at one for a CZ bolt action heavy barrel varmint.
They're around the same price as a Leopold VariX I 3-9 but I like the BDC reticle and with a $30 rebate they look attractive.
Thanks for any input.
For a 223 CZ, I assume?
They are decent, same BDC reticle as the M223.. I personally think the glass quality on the M223 is worth the upgrade cost.
I like the VX1 optics quality better than the P-series. They have the 2 dot reticle as well, that isn't quite BDC, but another alternative.

I love mine, no problems whatsoever even dropped of a table by accident and it held its zero like,a champ. Around 300 rounds through on,my coyote setup no complaints.

Thanks Guys. I've always liked Leupolds but the features on the P223 are intriguing. I've also had good luck with Weaver Grand Slams but haven't owned one since they were bought out by Blount.
I need to find a shop that stocks both so I can do a side by side comparison.

I have the M223 and I love it. The way I understand it is the P223 is a Prostaff scope and the M223 is a Monarch scope. I think Bass Pro had Prostaffs and Monarchs last time I was there so you could compare those to get an idea of the difference.

I have the M223 and love it. Very easy to get hits on a 8" paper plate at 300 yds using the BDC. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot past 300 yet.
Mine is sitting on a Larue QD-104 so I can pop it off in an instant for iron sights, an aimpoint, or whatever else I want to use. Love the setup.

I was going to order a M233 from SWFA but had an opportunity for an unscheduled range day so I went to Sportsman's Warehouse hoping to grab one. They didn't have an M223 but did have a Prostaff 3-9X40 with BDC reticle. At least in the store it was as clear and bright as a Leupold. Grabbed one for $139.95 after rebate. After my range session I'm not dissapointed with it at all. It doesn't have quite the field of view of the Leupold or Weaver Grand Slam but I can live with that minor detail.
