Just got a new Walther G22, went to the range today and had a few jams
with high velocity ammo. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what
did you do to fix this problem?
Spacific Ammo? I find that they will missfeed with ammo that has like a wax on the bullet. Bob
Mine is a little tempermental also, just got to try diffrent brands until it finds one that it likes. Fortunatly, mine seems to like the Remington 525 golden bullet pack, So, we're both happy.
Same here the Remington work good.

Walther G22 I am guessing the G stands for Geweher, German for rifle.

Wild, never heard of it. So are we talking about G22 or P22? I'm confused now lol. [roll]
Yep, same here, of course I have been working too much recently.
Well,
I hope you have better luck with feeding with the G22 than I have ever had with my P22.
Basically, the thing I can do to make my P22 happiest (that means minimizing, not eliminating) jams is to feed it CCI Blazer 22LR ammo. It seems to only jam about once or twice every 50 with that ammo. Some ammo it jams every other (if I get lucky) shot.

I've had just the opposite luck with my p22. I've even picked up ammo off the range floor and shot through it without any problem's that I recall.

+1 My P22 eats anything I feed it.
I have no idea about the G22 since I have never shot one.
I thought the G22 would have been a nice partner rifle for the P22, but the mags are not interchangeable... who the hell thought that up?
