I need a rail mount sling attachment for my XCR and need some advice. I went to the gun show a few weeks back and only saw one type of mount. It was so clunky and ugly I couldn't picture ruining my beautiful rifle with that ugly mount let alone pay the outrageous asking price. What are the best ones to look for?

Larue TActical makes a quick release adapter

Larue's is nice looking but at $32 for the mount and another $19 for the quick release ring it's a bit pricy.

I will be very surprised if you find anything "good" for less than $50

But if you do...be sure to share

Midwest Industries (MI) has a good one - $25+/-
YMH's isn't bad and neither is the GG&G .. not sure on pricing.

Thanks, I'll check all these out. I guess I need to be recalibrated on my expectations. The one I saw at the gun show looked like it had been hand carved out of a chunk of iron and didn't swivel.

Daniel Defense makes incredibly good ones, as does Tactical Link.

A good sling is to a rifle, what a good holster is to a pistol. Don't skimp on something that you might have to bet your life on someday.

The Yankee Hill, Daniel Defense, and Larue all look more like what I had in mind. I've order a Daniel Defense. Next thing to research is a sling.

Thanks to everybody for the advice.

Depending on what you do, look at the VCAS two point sling by Blue Force Gear.
