10/22 Sight Problem (Warning)

Pick a new 10/22 at Bass Pro to day and get it home and open the box. The frecken rear sight is milled in slanted. So I run it back over to BPS to exchange it, what a pain in the ass, and we pull the rest of what the have in stock. Guess what? All the others are the same. It appears Ruger has a jig problem. So if you are getting one check the sight before leaving the store.

I would rather have them double check their product before it leaves the factory so that I don't have to go through the trouble of shipping a firearm back to them for a mistake that their QC dept should have easily spotted.

So I left the gun there. The smith's, no not the guys for The Matrix, had gone for the day. I have asked that they switch out the barrel with another gun and send me on my way. Had to explain the them that the barrel is not a gun and thus I don't need to do another 4473. The damn wait yesterday was 45mins for the 4473 BTW. I keep you up on what happens. I'm calling in the am to see what they have figured out.
