My Buddy was in a Wal-Mart in Grand Junction and they had 25 pound bags of wheat for like $13 and cans of freeze dried foods such as 1lb cans of bell pepper for $12 along with other items. Has anyone seen this in the Denver or Colorado Springs Walmarts?

They have been doing this for about a year but the selection was very limited. Have to take a look again.

I can see the Walmart doing it Utah because of all the Mormons. I didn't get a chance to check the Walmart in Parker but the one in Elizabeth does carry any

I've seen a small variety of Mountain House products in my local Walmart. It's mainly the 2 serving camping sized items in the outdoors section of the store. Nothing in bulk that i've seen yet. I do know the Costco and Sportsman's warehouse in Westminster have bulk freeze dried stuff in though.

Same here, There are camping sized meals of Mountain House but that's about it.

For you guys that are finding this stuff is it in the camping area or the regular food area?

I will keep an eye out at the Wal-Marts I go to, to see if I see anything.

My buddy said it was in the food section. I have been super busy and havent been able check around other Walmarts.

I visited the walmart on Wads and Quincy and couldn't find any bulk wheat or freeze dried. Only had the single pouches in the camping section. Darn.

The Wally World up by the Flatirons mall has 5 gallon pails of "survival" food now as well. Looks to be an assortment type deal.
