I was wondering, before I opened the thread "where would you hook the rope to a motorcycle", but I guess with a sidecare attached, you would have options.

Give these guys a break, they were not dumb enough to use a rope. Look closer at the picture, it is a tow strap !
And to the OP, get your facts straight before posting a title...............[LOL]

Done that, several times...Run the rope between the forks, by the triple tree, bring the end to the handlebar and hold it on the grip.
If necessary you let go of the rope and you are fine...Hey, I'm still in one piece![Coffee]

I myself do not see the issue but to each his own. I have been towed with much less. Used to get towed in the race cars and Karts with ropes so as long as one understands how it is done.......

I guess if one has the $100 to get towed 20 blocks vs a friend that will help ya out. When my GP lost the WP on the way to work I called. To go 3 miles by just calling a company it was $125. To have it towed by my son that had access to a rollback it was $40. To have a friend that had a clue how to tow with a strap was $0.

Just a thought.[Flower]

Towed many a bike by just having the rider hang onto either the door handle or grip the top of the door with the window down. Just gotta go slow and leave the bike/rider plenty of room on the right side of the road. Usually giving a quick tow to get a bike with a dead battery started.

We always used a rope and just held on to it. Let go any time needed. Always slow and cautious. Would be a drag to tear up a bike or get hurt cause you're cheap or poor.

Wouldn't want to fall and break your arm and not be able to wave for the rest of the season.

This, 2 experienced riders who know how to work together, very easy to do.
It's much easier than towing someone with chains and they don't have a clue. "I didn't know you wanted my foot off the brake" [Bang]

Only down side i see in the OP's picture is full helmet and shorts. Oh well what can you say about Leadwing riders[ROFL1]
