The CO choices for custom plates are pretty lame by comparison.

All kidding aside the state had a verified, guaranteed, counting cash cows way of getting lots of money.
Then they went ahead and banned smoking in certain places, no more vending machines etc.
They figured how much of the windfall from the tobacco lobby settlement Co would received, to the point of including that money in to the budget. Then like all politicians they cut their own throats by making it illegal, along with screwing us to make up for the loss of monies never received.
Another class act by the state.gov

Colorado has over 50 license plate options. They're just mostly for special interest groups.
