Hello all. Moved here to cos about 3 years ago. Always been a handgun owner but recently have been looking for a home defense/range toy in the form of an AR. Was originally going to go for a shotgun but decided against that for a couple reasons.

I'm an hk fan and my wife is a sig girl in handguns but am open to other brands for an AR. Was hoping to browse some local classifieds from you guys to possibly pick one up I know has been loved and "tested".

We also joined the pikes peak gun club and I am going to go to the gun show at the end of the month to burn some cash. Any advice?

Welcome, a newbie here myself seems to be some good folks here and not any trash talk so to speak, kind of a relief after some of the others. I am new to ARs as well and just got one 2 weeks ago, sure does seem to go through ammo but it has become one of my very favorite guns as well. I like my sig 220 as well, your wife has good tastes.

Thanks, I think I will either pick up a complete from the classifieds when I Can view them or get a basic AR at the gun show and then modify it.
