So the democrats in PA and i am sure elsewhere are "livid" this Voter ID has been upheld, for now. I am confused as the democrats (correct me if i am wrong) feel showing an ID to buy a gun is not enough. YET when it comes to voting, that wacky thing we elect people to run (in to the ground) our country, ID, who needs it?
Remember these are the same people who in 08 made sure every person in every neighborhood in America was push, pulled or dragged in to their election precinct, to vote.

NOW the same people say 'there is no way the elderly, disenfranchised, minority's are able to get to their ID ahead of the election. HOW THE @#$%^ WERE THEY ABLE TO GET TO THE POLLS, Yet not be able to get an ID?????????

This shit the of dems pulling all stops out for the nov election has gone beyond embarrassing. Our elected officials wonder why Americans are fed up with the .gov.

The gun buying ID vs voting ID is one of my fave counter arguments now.

Agreed. Restricting gun purchasing is racist because it makes it more difficult for minorities. Why don't you want minorities to be armed?

That was part of the basis for the GCA of 68. Armed coloreds, in white towns and colleges, the horror.
BTW: Guess who the majority of this way of thinking was............anyone.

I went to college so I know the answer.

There is not a valid argument against requiring an ID to vote. Not one. And of all the things the federal government requires you to show an ID for, voting should be at the very top of the list. If showing an ID to vote disenfranchises minorities, so does flying, buying a gun, buying alcohol, buying tobacco, etc. Not to mention, how much does it cost to get an ID? $21 for a DL and $10.50 for a CO ID card. The ID card is free if you are over 60 years of age. If you can't afford $10.50 for an ID card, then voting is not that important to you.

What is their excuse going to be when white people are the minority? It's gonna happen one of these days.

Democrats cheat ... Voter ID laws make that harder ... not going to beat around the bush or BS about possible "legitimate" motivation for opposition to voter ID laws.

Ironically Democrats hate Democracy.

I realize there are a lot of people who just have no idea what is going on and would accept whatever the party in power shoves down their throat - but anyone with a pulse has to see this opposition to voter ID/"disenfranchisement" as the push for rampant voter fraud that it is. Given everything that you absolutely must have an ID for (autos, firearms, etc), the only people who don't have IDs are those who don't want IDs.

They have ID, OR it's blatant voter fraud with admission of guilt. This is all about the Illegal Alien vote.
How many people are gullible enough to vote for this POS again. I had hoped the white guilt finally came down off it's lsd trip and snapped out of it.

Piles upon piles of BS by this admin and the media, tells me the cold hard slap of reality that is coming down the hill full speed with no brakes, will be hitting real hard.

In reality, most of the people they are trying to get to vote are too stupid not to lose their ID. The pop stand where I work, people are required to have an ID. Must be ten or twelve people a week come in and say they lost their ID. The Dems want stupid, needy, non working, self absorbed and ENTITLED POS's....

Every time I see it on cops... Officer during traffic stop asks for ID, someone says they don't have one. What!? How can you not have an ID? What happens if you were to get run over? How will they identify you? [Bang]

Are you required to present ID if asked by police? I'm sure they can hold you until identified if they really want to but it may just be people not wanting to present their ID.

As for ID for voting, umm, yeah, how about a little fraud reduction.

Yes, no id and you can be considered a vagrant. Standing in one area without moving more than x feet in any direction is considered loitering, Figured i would toss this tidbit in.

Well kind of... you don't Have to 100% of the time, or at least I've seen cases where the guy has no ID and the cops don't care. But if you don't have one while operating a motor vehicle... we all know this. Most banks I know require an ID to cash a check- yes that even includes welfare!

My comments actually fit in two active threads but I will put them here...

The voter ID thing goes hand-in-hand with the new illegal immigrant situation. Basically in two strokes, this administration has guaranteed itself votes from the entire illegal population.

Deferring their deportation gives them a reason to want to keep him in office...
Allowing voting without ID gives them a way to do it...

Not only will the young illegals that the new rules benefit be voting for 'Bama, their 10 million parents who brought them here illegally will too.

Bada-bing, we have been swindled. Again.

It shouldn't even be an argument to need an ID. You need one to get a bank account, have a credit card, buy ammo, buy guns, test drive a car, drive a car, enter a lot of downtown bars, start a checking account, buy a home, become a member of costco, buy spray paint.

yet people fight about needing an ID to vote for their elected officials? that is laughable.

It's not "the people" it is the left leaning (ok) LEFTist PAC's, lobbyist, SOROS groups and DEM's who are behind the No ID to vote campaign.

Alcohol and tobacco too! And I'm sure these aren't exclusive to American things!
