This came via email from one of the many volunteers that take care of things within Front Range IDPA.


Hi Folks,

Here are the Main Match results for our 11-August-2012 match. We had a
total of 104 shooters this month, while not a club record for monthly
participation it is the first time we had two months in a row of over a
hundred competitors.

Rifle Side Match results will follow.

All of those who sent an email to this results email address need to realize
that this inbox is not regularly monitored and a few need to take a more
polite tone when requesting results or requesting to be added to our email
list. We are an all volunteer group who spend a great amount of time on our
monthly matches and we may not be able to post the results as quickly as you
would like, please cut us some slack.

See you in September.

If you need info right away, consider posting your question here and one of us board members or even fellow shooters can always help. Sending snippy emails or making rude comments at matches is a great way to accelerate the match staff burnout process.

Yeah, these guys need to be cut some slack. I agree, I was as anxious as the next guy to see the results from Saturday and was becoming impatient. It takes a lot of work to put these things on, especially with record attendance numbers.

I was seriously considering sending him an email tonight before the results posted. It's a shame that some have to be rude about it. It's easy to still ask while being polite.
