I almost have my kitchen complete so I thought I would post a pic and of course gun porn is included. Along with my wife she is at the back door bitching at me to let her out! :P :mrgreen:

Do not make fun of my George grill that is one badass grill for a bachelor it will cook anything in minutes I love that grill. [abused]

Amen to that! I keep entering this one contest where the prize is $100,000. Everytime I enter I say when I win I get that $22,000 MP5 I saw online. :mrgreen:
The kitchen looks very nice. I had to kill the page before the wifey saw and asked for a new kitchen like that.

I want to know if the bank of cylinders on a given side are parallel or angled toward the crankshaft centerline.
if parallel - how do they do that?
If angled - how do they work the head with that flat deck?

Thanks guys first I need to say I had a lot of help. Marlin helped me with some electrical questions (Thanks Doug). My buddy Dave who is now in the sand box army special forces did most of the work. I did all the electrical, sheet rock, paint and lighting. Dave did all the tile and hung all the cabinets he did all the carpentry including the trim.
My kitchen is the result of a United States soldier and he never got to see it complete before he left. He was deployed before I got the counter top company out to install the counter tops.

There is a lot ways to make that work how they did it I have no idea as I have never seen one. Is this a concept motor or is it in production? If its in production give me a make and model and I can tell you exactley how they did it.
If this is a concept motor I could tell you many ways it could be done. Once you get the pistons in time the rest is grade school. Over head cams problem solved. [wink]

Well, I found some answers - that's a Volkswagen W-12 (or WR-12) engine.
it's based on two VR6 engines placed side by side.
The two sides are 72 degrees apart and the cylinders in a given side are 15 degrees apart.
Interestingly the cylinder centerlines are offset from the centerline of the crankshaft by 12.5 mm!
They just came out with a concept putting it into a golf, but is also being used in Touareg, phaeton, bentley and audi.
