NEW YORK – For the first time in its 80-year history, Augusta National Golf Club has female members.



The home of the Masters, under increasing criticism the last decade because of its all-male membership, invited former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore to become the first women in green jackets when the club opens for a new season in October.

This just pisses me off. They are their own damn club and if they don't want women in there then they don't have to have women in there. The bitches could have gone and started their own club just the same. This is some bullshit woman power agenda and it worked! Socialism in the works here. America is slipping!

Indeed it does. They are not going to count that as a victory, hence why they won't stop until the club is "50/50" split. Which we all know that means that there will be 70/30 women to men, and then they will have to work to ensure that the asian numbers, black numbers, etc. are up to par (pun?). [LOL] Oh and of course don't forget about the new initiative for those who can't afford the membership dues. The club members will be forced to pay a 25% additional fee on their dues to allow those who cannot afford the dues to become a member. It's just another case of what is happening in America.

EDIT: I forgot to add the conclusion! Then, due to the extreme financial burden put on the club due to all of the "initiatives", the club goes bankrupt. The club is then bailed out by the government and the club is then run by the Feds. Happy ending for everyone and the government can add one more great thing about America under their control. Tada!

Well I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your post. I have never used the N word and I don't use the N word. Are you referring to black people protesting about joining Augusta National? The first black member joined in 1990. If I replaced "woman" with "black dude" in my post it would change nothing for me. Augusta National is a private club. PRIVATE club. They can bring in and keep out whoever the hell they want. Martha Burk, the lady that started to protest Augusta, is the chairwoman for the National Council of Women's Organizations (Whatever the fuck that is). She sent a letter to Hootie Johnson of Augusta National out of the blue and asked for women to join the club. He said how does no sound. She got her panties all in a wad because she was sipping that woman power hater-ade and started bitching and protesting. The media, because they suck, jumped on the idea and broadcasted the shit out of the whole ordeal. How does Martha Burk think she has the right to barge into Augusta National and change the way that they operate? They told her to fuck off and her women-power agenda ego could not handle it. And with how this country is going who knows who was pressuring Augusta National to cave on this one. The government probably threatened to take over the club and shut them down if they didn't play by the rules that the government wanted them to play by, because that's how socialism works. Clearly Augusta National has demonstrated that they want quality people in the club and that's why they told Bill Clinton to take a hike. The whole thing just violates the fibers of this country on a very fundamental level, and I hate to see it happen to such a special place. [Rant1]

I'd be willing to bet on it. They didn't just magically change their minds in a few years and decide that they want to have women members join. I'm sure they got some HEAVY pressure.
