I never would have thought I'd be reading an article in Elle but this article was linked in on another gun news story and it's actually a pretty good one. The author is a convert (former California non-gunner now living in Montana) and she walks through her whole mental process from being hysterically afraid of having a real physical gun in the same room to owning and carrying a Ruger LCR.

Good read. Im going to pass it along to my wife and maybe her mom. Her mom isn't anti-gun but I do think that she thinks Im crazy for having my CCW.

not actually a bad read...

I sometimes think that some of those writers are a little more on our side then they lead on. kind of making it seem like they are more scared then they are so that their readers arent turned off.
