Sheesh, what a long title.

As some of you may remember on my birthday my youngest daughter decided to see how water proof my cell phone was. In the toilet. That had not been flushed by my oldest daughter. Blech. Well, I didn't mention the dirty toilet water but I had to take it in today.

The phone was working in every way except I could not make and receive phone calls. Well, the calls would go out and come in but I couldn't hear a thing, nor could the other line. Doesn't work so well when that is your business on the other end.

Went in today and they gave me a loaner phone (50 bucks deposit that I get back when I get my other phone back) no questions took the phone in and got ready to exchange it. Then the guy behind the counter realized that my 915 pictures and 117 videos wouldn't fit on the loaner phone (they do not upgrade you, but at least I got one that does wifi so I can still use it for work). So he set up my loaner phone, handed me my old one so I could go home and back up all my pics, vids, contacts and messages. Seriously good customer service. My phone is being sent of for repair, if it cant be repaired it will be scrapped and they will hand me a new one.

I would absolutely buy my next phone from Best Buy and get the insurance. Completely worth the 9.99 a month I have been spending.

I pay a dollar less through Sprint, totaly worth it. I have had to replace phones 3 times. Somehow they all seem to hut the ground at 100mph. Who knows.

I've had 5 phones commit suicide while going up stairs.. always concrete stairs that you can see through.. never anything soft..

Always seem to be people watching too..

I pay $5 for the insurance.. it's worth it :)

My iPhone 3GS is a BEAST and gets dropped a couple of times a day.

My apple care plan is about to run out though.

Ya but if you crack the screen will Apple care cover that? I was under the impression they won't.

I don't believe so. But as I mentioned, I've dropped it hundreds of times and nothing has happened.

I know, but every phone I've owned I have shattered the screen.:(

Or maybe I'm just an a-hole who likes to beat up on defenceless mobile phones.[M2]
